The Beatle were an English rock band from Liverpool, England formed in 1960. Their most famous band members were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. They became the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed band in the history of music. They had more number-one albums on the British charts and sold more singles in the UK than any other band. They have received 7 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award for Best Original Song Score and many other awards. They are the best-selling band in history.
