“The Flying Sikh” is the nickname of that Indian sports hero who made India proud in track and field race in the world. Milkha Singh was the fourth fastest man in the 1960 Summer Olympics’ 400m race final. He was born on 17 October 1935 in Layallpur, British India. He was awarded the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian honor for his achievements in Sports.
