Titanic is a 1997 American epic romantic disaster film by James Cameron. It was a fictionalized account of the sinking of the RMS Titanic that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean on 15 April 1912 after colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton, UK to New York City, US. Titanic became the most successful film of the year by winning 11 Academy Award of 14 Nominations. A 3D version of the film was released on April 4, 2012. It was second film to collect more than 2 billion after Avatar in the box office. Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater played the leading roles in the movie.
